ABOUT ME
HOW IT ALL BEGAN
I am a life-long resident of Bexar County and have overcome adversity throughout my childhood. Defeating my challenges has given me the passion and dedication to fight for you and your families.
My name is Sharon Rodriguez and I am running for the office of Bexar County Sheriff.
My childhood was different from the average person. At the young age of nine years old, I was made a ward of the State and lived within the foster care system and in the child protective services system.
I lived many years without a stable home and family. At the age of fifteen, after running away from my last abusive foster home, I met a member of the Sheriff's Department who inspired me to get motivated and take control of my life and future. That Deputy changed my life.
Today, I am a proud wife of a law enforcement officer and blessed mother to three wonderful children.
I am a licensed Texas Peace Officer and have worked within the Bexar County Sheriff's Department and the City of Hollywood Park's Police Department.
